The role involves developing vision systems for autonomous vehicles to navigate complex environments safely and efficiently, utilizing deep learning and geometric vision techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy algorithms to detect and track obstacles using monocular and multi-view camera systems
- Combine deep learning with geometric vision to achieve 3D situational awareness at scale
- Own the full development lifecycle - from building scalable training pipelines to performing root-cause analysis on field data - ensuring the perception stack leads the industry in safety and reliability
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience crafting perception systems for autonomous robots or vehicles
- Expertise in state-of-the-art Deep Learning models for object detection and tracking
- Advanced knowledge of geometric computer vision (stereo vision, SfM, visual odometry)
- A proven track record of deploying autonomous systems into real-world, commercial environments
