Centerbase is a company that empowers mid-size law firms through its cloud-based legal practice management platform. They are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Product Marketing to lead and scale their product marketing function, focusing on market positioning, go-to-market strategies, and collaboration with various teams to drive product adoption and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Market and Customer Insights: Lead ongoing customer, market, and competitive research to inform positioning, messaging, and the product roadmap
- Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear, differentiated positioning and compelling messaging that communicates the value of Centerbase’s solutions to our key segments
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Own and execute go-to-market plans for new product and feature launches. Partner cross-functionally to ensure organizational readiness
- Launch Excellence: Plan and execute high-impact product launches, including internal enablement, external campaigns, and content strategy. Measure results and optimize
- Sales & CS Enablement: Create sales tools, playbooks, battlecards, and training to help Sales and Customer Success teams effectively position and sell the product
- Product Influence: Collaborate closely with Product Management to influence the roadmap, ensuring market needs and customer feedback are represented
- Metrics & Reporting: Track product marketing KPIs—adoption, engagement, win/loss, campaign performance—and report insights with recommendations
- Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on Centerbase’s products and market, contributing to content strategy, events, and analyst relations
- Pricing and Packaging: Drive compelling pricing, packaging, and business models for the business to capture the appropriate revenue for the value we provide
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience leading Marketing teams in a growth environment with a graduate degree in Marketing or Related major and / or requisite experience
- 5-8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably in the software space
- Experience with legal tech, fintech, or workflow-driven B to B software is a plus
- Deep experience in product launches, positioning, messaging, and GTM strategy
- Experience building out Product Marketing capability in a growing Marketing organization, including building out an organization readiness capability
- Proven track record of influencing product strategy and launching successful products in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills—especially with Product, Sales, and customer-facing support, success, implementations, and training teams
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills, and experience articulating value propositions derived from customer and market insights
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and optimize marketing initiatives
- Comfortable operating strategically and tactically, leading and doing
