The Business Systems Analyst- Salesforce CPQ role is essential in configuring Salesforce CPQ and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance business processes and technologies that support healthcare initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to analyze, understand, and enhance employee productivity and end-user effectiveness, with a strong focus on improving the overall customer experience
- Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues
- Design, develop and maintain Salesforce CPQ system solutions involving complex product bundles, price rules, validation rules, approval rules, document templates, etc. in support of new requests and enhancements
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and possess in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce CPQ domain
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specs, user manuals, and JIRA stories
- Define and implement system enhancements that align with business goals, advising on best practices and recommending process improvements to ensure scalability and efficiency
- Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs, including system specifications and workflows. Solutions consider both up and downstream impact
- Develop test cases and conduct unit and integration testing to ensure that systems meet specified requirements and function correctly
- Develop, deliver, and present end-user training materials to Salesforce users throughout the organization
- Research production system issues, resolve user problems, and escalate issues when necessary
- Perform application configuration activities primarily in Salesforce and other supporting Force.com applications
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, facilitating communications and ensuring alignment on project goals
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance business efficiency
Requirements:
- Salesforce Administrator certification required
- Minimum 2 years Salesforce CPQ experience required
- 2-4 years of work experience as a business analyst, or related role
- Proficiency in Salesforce CPQ system administration, including user management, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce environments
- Knowledge of tools including JIRA, Confluence, and SOQL
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification preferred
- Experience working in a mix of agile and waterfall project management methodologies is preferred
- Experience with Conga a plus but not required
- Familiarity with business operations processes and practices is a plus
- Experience in the healthcare industry is also considered beneficial
