Sr Product Designer

Pax8 is seeking a Product Designer who blends creativity, curiosity, and user-centered thinking to enhance their commerce and monetization ecosystem. The role involves crafting user-centered designs, collaborating with teams to deliver inspiring and buildable solutions, and leveraging modern design tools to innovate and improve product outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Craft user-centered designs—from early sketches and wireframes to polished, high-fidelity solutions
• Translate complex workflows into clear, elegant interfaces
• Partner with product, engineering, and research to deliver designs that are both inspiring and buildable
• Collaborate with UX researchers to plan studies, validate ideas, and bring user insights into every stage of design
• Apply qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions and improve product outcomes
• Contribute to our design system and help maintain consistency across the product ecosystem
• Evolve patterns and components as new features emerge
• Leverage modern design tools—including emerging AI tools—to accelerate workflows and spark new ideas
• Embrace experimentation, continuous learning, and team collaboration

Requirements:

• A product designer with a portfolio showcasing strong problem-solving, interaction design, and user-centered thinking
• Proficient with tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar modern design platforms
• A clear communicator who can explain design decisions to technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and iterating quickly
• Curious about new technologies—especially AI—and how they can enrich the design process
• Familiar with design systems and collaborative workflows
• Experience designing commerce or transactional experiences
• Comfort blending data visualization with narrative storytelling
• Exposure to mixed methods research or user testing
• Working with multi-sided marketplace products
