Location: Eagan, Minnesota
The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining and repairing CNC equipment, performing PMs on CNC equipment, and fabrication machinery, and maintaining other pneumatic and hydraulic equipment by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives requests for maintenance from internal customers and creates work orders.
- Triage requests and schedule maintenance on various equipment including fabrication machinery and other production equipment.
- Repair manufacturing equipment and conduct and perform preventative maintenance and maintain PM logs/audits.
- Evaluate and operate equipment following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- General maintenance and/or building workstations, racking, or tooling to increase safety and/or production efficiency.
- Prior knowledge of CNC machines; Lathes, Mills, Punches, Press Brakes, etc.
- Coordinates with contractors for PM services and other outside repairs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; Reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and lift up to 50 - 80lbs, should also be able to work at some heights on ladders and scissors lift to twenty-six feet. Safety glasses and steel toe shoes required. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions (weather/non-weather)
- First shift
- $32 - $38 hourly wage
