About Kingman, Arizona
Kingman, AZ is located along Historic Route 66, just 90 minutes south of Las Vegas and two hours North of Phoenix in the beautiful high desert of Mohave County. Our tranquil mid-sized community is relatively low stress; traffic is minimal and average commute times to work are under fifteen minutes. Kingman’s higher elevation keeps the sweltering desert summer temperatures away from the extremes (on average 10-15 degrees cooler than Phoenix and Las Vegas) with mild winter temperatures seeing an occasional dusting of snow. Located near the Colorado River that forms the western boundary of Mohave County with an estimated 1,000 miles of freshwater shoreline including Lake Havasu, Lake Mohave, and Lake Mead. Kingman has one public school district, Kingman United School District (KUSD) for grades K-12 and one charter school, Kingman Academy of Learning for grades PreK-12. For post-secondary education, one of four main campuses of Mohave Community College (MCC) is in Kingman, as well as an extension campus of Northern Arizona University (NAU).

The Director of Patient Financial Services (PFS) and Revenue Integrity (RI) is responsible for strategic and operational leadership of hospital and Physician revenue cycle operations, including billing, claims management, collections, denial manager, charge capture, and compliance. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant revenue cycle performance while supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and values. The Director drives continuous improvement, optimizes financial outcomes, enhances patient financial experiences, and fosters collaboration across departments.

Qualifications
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience in management.
Required Experience: Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in hospital revenue cycle management, with leadership responsibilities in both PFS and RI.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong leadership and management skills demonstrating an ability to develop, deploy, and retain a strong revenue cycle team. Strong analytical skills to detect and resolve problems related to systems and processes. Demonstrates knowledge of process improvement techniques, ability to be a self-starter and work independently to move projects to completion. Ability to deliver on key initiatives, development department metrics and achieve associated goals. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively manage department and communicate with a broader audience.

Education: Master’s degree in relevant subject matter
Certification: Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) certification
