Summary:
The Legal Department Intern is responsible for a variety of key tasks and functions within the legal department including corporate compliance, licensing, insurance, and providing administrative support to the team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of corporate records
- Filing of annual reports
- Filing various license applications and renewals
- Review of various vendor and customer documentation
- Assist with various risk management functions
- Database management
- Lead for various projects and initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications
- Precise attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Intermediate skill with Office 365, notably Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Able to utilize latitude given within job parameters to make independent decisions.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Maintains the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality regarding company information.
