DuckWorks is a growing company looking for a Business Development Manager to expand relationships with architectural millwork and casework manufacturers across North America. The role involves building trust with clients, managing business opportunities, and collaborating closely with the CEO and Operations team.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Conduct discovery calls and in-person client meetings
- Identify opportunities for full-time drafting placements and project-based support
- Travel regularly to visit clients and prospects across North America
- Represent DuckWorks at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up plans
- Collaborate closely with Operations to ensure smooth sales-to-delivery handoffs
- Learn DuckWorks’ drafting and engineering workflows
- Contribute to refining sales messaging and go-to-market strategy
Requirements:
- 5+ years of B2B sales or account management experience
- Comfortable with frequent travel
- Strong relationship-building skills (consultative, not transactional)
- Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently as a primary U.S.-based team member
- Millwork, cabinet manufacturing, estimating, engineering, or project management
- Exposure to shop-floor or CNC environments
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or Mozaik (even at a high level)
- Experience attending AWI, IWF, KBIS, or similar industry events
