Amplify is a pioneer in K–12 education, leading the way in next-generation curriculum and assessment. They are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst - Pricing & Business Analytics to support strategic pricing and bundling decisions through data analysis, market research, and competitive intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from Snowflake data warehouse using SQL
- Pull and reconcile financial and operational data from NetSuite ERP system
- Perform statistical analysis to identify pricing opportunities and risks
- Collaborate with data teams to ensure data accuracy and availability
- Analyze pricing trends, customer behavior, and market dynamics to recommend optimal pricing strategies
- Develop and maintain pricing models and processes for products/services across different market segments
- Support pricing decisions for new product launches and existing portfolio optimization
- Monitor pricing performance and provide regular reporting and communication to stakeholders
- Create, document, and execute complex cross-functional processes to ensure alignment on pricing projects
- Document pricing methodologies and approvals in an organized manner
- Support Executive Director of Pricing to identify and solve complex problems that will block a product from launching successfully by working collaboratively with product, sales, and other teams
- Support cross-functional projects tied to short-term and long-term strategic initiatives
- Lead urgent, in-market pricing and discounting analyses and recommendations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-5 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, pricing, or related field
- Experience in extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets from Snowflake data warehouse using SQL
- Experience in a commercial, finance, pricing, or revenue-focused role
- Experience pulling and analyzing data from NetSuite ERP system
- Experience balancing multiple projects and organizing time and priorities effectively
- Collaborative mindset; ability to work and communicate cross-functionally across data, finance, marketing, and sales teams
