Altak Group Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for systems and services. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, leading user acceptance testing, and acting as a subject matter expert to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for systems, processes, and services
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create project plans, manage requirements lifecycle, and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Lead and support user acceptance testing (UAT) including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and resolution
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve moderate to complex issues related to systems, processes, and software
- Develop detailed documentation including business cases, requirements specifications, process flows, and user guides
- Monitor and report on project status, risks, and issues; prioritize and manage new work requests
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide training, support, and guidance to end users
- Facilitate communication between business units and IT to ensure successful delivery of solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- (In lieu of a degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related analytical role
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, timely, and cost-effective solutions
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of business systems, products, and services
- Experience with requirements management and documentation best practices
