DigiCert is a global leader in intelligent trust, ensuring the security and authenticity of digital interactions. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying leads while collaborating closely with Account Executives to grow the customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Source opportunities and qualify leads for Sales Organization
- Work both inbound and outbound leads with an expectation of doing 80 touches per day (via email, phone calls, social media)
- Communicate with key IT personnel, up to and including C-level executives, by phone, email, and social media
- Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of DigiCert solutions to become a trusted advisor to prospects and customers
- Uncover and qualify prospective customer needs, understand business processes, identify projects, determine requirements, and ascertain potential solutions
- Collaborates with marketing to optimize performance of campaigns
- Demonstrate initiative, creativity, and collaboration through ad-hoc projects for various departments
Requirements:
- 1+ years of sales, sales development, outbound outreach experience
- Desire to work in sales and in the cybersecurity industry
- Coachable, self-motivated, curious, and resilient, with a 'get the job done' attitude
- Well-rounded with varied interests, background, and experience
- Professional, efficient communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills (positive and personable)
- Proficiency in SFDC, Zoominfo, Salesloft/Outreach is a plus
