Site Reliability Engineer

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with extensive experience in DevOps and infrastructure automation. The role involves setting up and managing Kubernetes clusters, automating tasks, and implementing monitoring solutions to ensure reliable and efficient system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Need to have 10+ years of experience as Devops / SRE engineer
• Kubernetes- should be strong on Infra side – how to set up Kubernetes clusters from Scratch
• Should know how to set up Kubernetes clusters from the scratch
• Good to have Rancher Kubernetes
• K8 baremetal
• Python must have
• Golang -good to have
• Monitoring tools – Grafana and Prometheus
• Terraform
• Ansible - automate tasks. Not core but nice to have
• 40% Openstack - secondary
• Familiar with, Upgrade and automation, workflows and core components
• Neutron Nova – some experience is needed
• Rancher Kubernetes (RKE2/K3s) in production
• Kubernetes internals & Linux (systemd, networking, kernel tuning)
• IaC: Terraform, Helm
• Scripting: Python or Go
• SRE practices + Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK
• OpenStack(+ Magnum integration)
• Rancher add-ons: Fleet, Longhorn
• Bare-metal performance tuning (UCS, VxLAN, MetalLB)
