
USF Athletics is seeking a Coordinator, Digital Marketing to support the execution and day-to-day management of the department’s digital communication platforms. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, this role will play a key part in driving fan engagement, revenue generation, and brand consistency through email marketing, the official USF Athletics Mobile App, the athletics website, and any emerging digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about digital storytelling and collegiate athletics, with a strong understanding of how digital channels support marketing, ticket sales, and fan engagement.
Email Marketing
· Manage the execution of all outbound email marketing campaigns for USF Athletics, including scheduling, deployment, and basic troubleshooting
· Build, format, and QA emails to ensure accuracy, branding consistency, and optimal performance across devices
· Coordinate with ticket sales, marketing, development, and external partners to execute targeted email campaigns
· Assist with audience segmentation, list management, and performance reporting
· Track and report on key email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions, etc.) to inform future strategy
Official USF Athletics Mobile App
· Oversee day-to-day content updates and maintenance of the official USF Athletics Mobile App
· Coordinate push notifications, in-app messaging, and feature promotions in alignment with marketing initiatives and game-day needs
· Serve as a liaison with app vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates and issue resolution
· Assist with analyzing app engagement metrics and identifying opportunities to enhance the fan experience
Website Support
· Assist with content updates and maintenance of the USF Athletics website, including landing pages, promotional content, and seasonal updates
· Support digital campaigns by ensuring web content is accurate, timely, and aligned with broader marketing initiatives
· Collaborate with creative, communications, and external partners on website enhancements and new features
Digital Platform Support & Growth
· Support additional digital platforms and tools as they are introduced, including CRM integrations, fan engagement tools, and emerging technologies
· Assist with testing, rollout, and documentation of new digital initiatives
· Help ensure consistency and best practices across all USF Athletics digital platforms
Collaboration & Administration
· Work closely with the Manager, Digital Marketing to support departmental goals and priorities
· Coordinate with marketing, ticket sales, development, communications, and external partners to execute integrated campaigns
· Assist with reporting, documentation, and organization of digital marketing processes and calendars
· Provide game-day or event support as needed, including evenings and weekends
Vendor & Platform Management
· Manage relationships with digital platform vendors and service providers.
· Ensure platform reliability, data integrity, and alignment with departmental goals.
This position requires an Associate's Degree and 2 years of related experience, OR a Bachelor's degree.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, digital media, sports management, or a related field and 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, or digital content management (internship experience considered) is preferred. Experience working in collegiate or professional sports, entertainment, or a fast-paced marketing environment is also preferred.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.
