Sales Manager | Moultrie, GA
Role Summary
The Sales Manager is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing product mix, and overseeing the commercial operations of our Moultrie, GA plant. You will lead a multi-functional team—spanning sales, design, customer service, and shipping—to ensure we deliver high-quality corrugated solutions while maintaining healthy profit margins. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep roots in the corrugated industry and a proven track record in the agricultural sector.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Develop and monitor sales initiatives to hit volume targets; prepare annual sales forecasts and track market trends to adjust equipment and inventory needs.
- Financial Oversight: Manage P&L performance for the facility. Use estimating expertise to determine the profitability of box products based on plant production capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Oversee the integrated workflow between Sales, Design, Scheduling, Customer Service, and Shipping to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales staff. Foster a culture of motivation, accountability, and professional growth.
- Account Management: Maintain high-level relationships with major accounts and oversee credit controls/granting for new and existing customers.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Industry Experience: 5+ years in the corrugated industry is required.
- Sales & Leadership: 10+ years of professional sales experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory/management role.
- Sector Expertise: Proven experience selling into the agriculture sector.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED plus related college coursework.
- Skills: Strong grasp of P&L statements, volume forecasting, and corrugated product estimation.

- Four-year college degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
