The Director of Scouting will assist the Head Football Coach in developing a quality NCAA Division I A Football program that is competitive on the field and in the classroom. The Director will serve as a key member of the football operations staff by overseeing the football program's scouting and talent evaluation operations, which are essential to the program's long-term success. This position will work closely with coaching staff and recruiting personnel to build and maintain relationships with JUCO and high school coaches nationwide to ensure that we efficiently evaluate prospective student-athletes, monitor the transfer portal, and adapt to ever-changing rosters while maximizing recruiting opportunities within NCAA regulations. The Director will serve as the NFL liaison to scouts. As directed by the Head Coach, this individual will focus on achieving excellence in all phases of our football program, cultivating a positive learning environment, while managing their daily function with character, integrity, and pride, working to fulfill their professional obligation to the best of their ability. The Director must accept the responsibility of being creative and relentless in pursuit of efficiency in the task at hand or duties required.
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred.
Two years of high school, college, and/or professional scouting and recruiting experience required.
Four years of high school, college, and/or professional scouting and recruiting experience preferred.
