Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is seeking a North America Sales Support Manager for their Automated Quality Solutions Business Unit. This role is responsible for driving commercial growth by managing the full sales cycle of advanced automation solutions to enhance manufacturing performance and operational reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Own regional bookings targets for automated inspection solutions
- Develop and execute account and territory plans across prioritized industrial segments
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through prospecting, partner collaboration, and internal lead channels
- Maintain disciplined forecasting and CRM governance
- Lead structured discovery conversations to identify operational challenges and improvement opportunities
- Position automation solutions aligned to customer productivity, quality, and performance objectives
- Communicate solution value in terms of business outcomes, scalability, and long-term operational impact
- Coordinate product demonstrations and evaluation activities (remote and onsite)
- Collaborate with technical teams to validate feasibility and confirm alignment with customer requirements
- Develop structured commercial proposals aligning configuration, services, and delivery milestones
- Ensure internal alignment on scope, risk, and commercial parameters
- Support negotiation and closing activities in collaboration with management
- Act as the central coordination point between sales, applications engineering, project management, and services
- Ensure smooth transition from commercial close to implementation
- Support early-stage customer satisfaction and reference development
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales within industrial automation, capital equipment, manufacturing technology, or related fields
- Proven track record in consultative, solution-oriented sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Working knowledge of metrology automation and manufacturing processes
- Strong executive-level communication and business acumen
- Willingness to travel
- Experience with industrial automation or inspection technologies
- Familiarity with collaborative selling alongside engineering teams
- Exposure to structured deployment environments
