Raas Infotek is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, and support Azure Data Services. The role involves developing Infrastructure-as-Code, creating CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring security and compliance in cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and support Azure Data Services including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, ADLS, Event Hub, Service Bus, Redis Cache, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse and associated data infrastructure
- Develop and enhance Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, or Ansible for consistent, repeatable provisioning of data environments
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment, schema operations, patching automation, and environment updates using Azure DevOps
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex issues related to networking, identity, performance, connectivity, and data platform integration
- Implement automations for backups, patching, DR workflows, configuration drift detection, and platform monitoring
- Support AKS clusters for data microservices, operators, and related workloads including scaling, storage classes, networking, and observability
- Ensure security and compliance through Azure Policy, RBAC, Managed Identities, private endpoints, and data governance best practices
- Optimize cloud resource usage through performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost analysis for data workloads
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and security teams to ensure smooth delivery of data-related application requirements
- Document technical procedures, automation workflows, and environment standards for easy handoff and operational continuity
Requirements:
