Halcyon is an innovative company focused on cybersecurity solutions, specifically targeting ransomware protection. They are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive new business opportunities, build client relationships, and generate leads in the cybersecurity space.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Prospect, identify, and qualify potential customers through inbound and outbound prospecting - calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach
- Client Engagement: Engage with decision-makers in target companies to understand their cybersecurity needs, challenges, and pain points, particularly related to ransomware threats
- Sales Support: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support and execute strategies for lead generation, campaigns, and outreach
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and manage lead data within our CRM system
- Educate & Qualify: Provide relevant information on our ransomware protection solutions and qualify leads to determine their potential fit for our services
- Nurturing: Follow up with leads and ensure consistent engagement until they are ready for a deeper conversation with an Account Executive or sales team
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and ransomware threats to communicate value effectively
Requirements:
- Business level Arabic
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales development or business development role, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, especially ransomware threats, is a plus
- Experience with CRM and Sales systems (Salesforce, Madkudu, Salesloft, Nooks, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.)
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
