Tyler Technologies is a company that specializes in software solutions, and they are seeking a Project Manager to manage the implementation of their software for new and existing accounts. The role involves overseeing the project lifecycle from initiation to transition, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycle from initiation to transition, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource management
- Conduct project kickoff meetings and communicate clear expectations to clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Provide leadership through delegation, coaching, and mentoring to drive accountability and successful outcomes
- Collaborate with sales, accounting, and internal teams to align requirements, manage contracts, and oversee invoicing
- Track and report on project milestones, deliverables, costs, risks, and financials, including billing, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure quality standards, testing, and deployment activities are completed and accepted at each stage
- Build and maintain client relationships, addressing issues proactively and identifying opportunities for growth
- Document lessons learned and contribute to best practices and continuous process improvement
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and accounts while meeting deadlines and budget constraints
- Lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to achieve project goals
- Navigate complex client contracts and align deliverables with milestone-based obligations
- Resolve complex business issues and proactively manage risks and scope changes
- Ensure quality, adherence to processes, and successful delivery throughout the project lifecycle
- Build strong client relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and stakeholder alignment
Requirements:
- 3+ years of project management or implementation experience
- Experience managing projects through all phases: initiation, planning, execution, and delivery
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams, clients, and management
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Adaptability to shifting priorities and fast-paced environments
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project common to both)
- Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) required or pursued
