Absolute Software is a cybersecurity company headquartered in Seattle, Washington, seeking a Sales Development Representative for the APJ region. In this role, you will generate and qualify leads, collaborate with marketing and sales teams, and drive revenue growth by securing meetings with key account personas.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and qualify leads, identifying prospects interested in our cybersecurity solutions
- Prioritize and research prospects, understanding their current IT situation, challenges, and needs
- Engage prospective clients via phone, email, and social media (LinkedIn) to convey Absolute’s unique value propositions
- Schedule qualified meetings for Sales through outbound calling and strategic digital outreach, converting them into pipeline opportunities
- Build and prioritize strategic account lists aligned with sales team members within defined segments
- Foster alignment and positive partnerships with internal Field Sales, technical and Marketing teams
- Participate in virtual and/or in-person events as needed
- Utilize our CRM system (Salesforce) to log activity and lead conversion data for business transparency
- Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers
Requirements:
- Both Japanese and English speaking required at a business professional level
- Resilience and a fearless approach to challenges, particularly in objection handling
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers, prospects, and team members
- Ambitious individual eager to learn and contribute significantly to the business's continued success
- Previous sales experience (1-2 years preferred) with a proven track record of consistently opening qualified opportunities that lead to revenue
- Experience in B2B lead generation, ideally within the cybersecurity space, is a bonus but not essential
