Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, part of the Spirax Group, is seeking a Marketing Manager to drive digital marketing initiatives and enhance brand visibility. The role involves strategic planning and hands-on execution of marketing campaigns while leading a small team and collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, analyze market data, and deliver insights that guide strategy and support sector growth
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns, manage content and timelines, and ensure activities align with business goals
- Manage budgets, monitor results, and optimize performance to maximize ROI
- Develop targeted strategies based on customer needs and market trends. Lead Americas exhibitions and conferences
- Work with sales, product development, and insights teams to align initiatives
- Support and develop a small marketing team, promote collaboration, and guide execution
- Refine marketing processes using data, feedback, and performance learnings
- Develop digital strategies, manage PPC (Google, Bing, LinkedIn), and oversee SEO/SEM
- Create targeted campaigns, segment audiences, optimize performance, and ensure compliance
- Manage content calendars, create engaging content, and track engagement
- Run and optimize Google Ads across formats, conduct keyword research, and manage bidding
- Work with teams to capture customer success stories and apply them across campaigns
- Translate research into strategies, support brand visibility, and contribute to PR and thought leadership
- Plan and execute event presence, manage logistics, and support follow-up
- Lead and develop the marketing team and manage external partners
Requirements:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- Experience in digital marketing, PPC, email campaigns, and events
- Skill with data tools (e.g., Power BI) and marketing platforms (Google Ads, HubSpot, Mailchimp, CRM)
- Strong strategic thinking, organization, and project management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with SEO, PPC, social campaigns, exhibitions, and budget management
- Fluency in English; other languages are an asset
- Google Ads and HubSpot certifications
- B2B marketing experience, ideally in Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, or Environmental sectors
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders efficiently
