EVgo is one of the nation’s largest public fast charging networks for electric vehicles, committed to expediting the mass adoption of EVs. They are seeking a Senior Content Marketing Specialist to build and scale their marketing program, focusing on content creation and distribution while managing growth-oriented workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Build and evolve PlugShare’s content marketing program, starting from a relatively early stage
- Experiment to identify the right content mix, formats, and channels to drive awareness, engagement, and trust
- Personally create high impact content while also editing and guiding work produced by freelancers and agencies
- Manage external partners, including briefing, timelines, feedback, and quality control
- Plan and distribute content across existing channels, including: Social media, Lifecycle and campaign messaging (Braze), SEO driven content (blogs, landing pages, evergreen resources)
- Support and improve growth adjacent workflows that shape customer perception and engagement
- Develop content and programs that serve both EV drivers and business partners across the EV community
- Partner cross functionally communicate insights and customer needs
- Maintain content calendars and ensure a consistent PlugShare voice across channels
- Track performance at a practical level and use learnings to iterate and improve
Requirements:
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Experience in content marketing, growth marketing, or a related role
- Proven ability to both create content yourself and manage others' work (freelancers or agencies)
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Comfort working in ambiguity and taking ownership of loosely defined problem areas
- Experience distributing content across multiple digital channels
- Ability to make complex or technical topics clear and engaging
- Interest in EVs, clean energy, or mobility (prior EV experience is a plus, not a requirement)
