Spark is a company that delivers brand solutions to create impactful brand perceptions across consumer touchpoints. They are seeking a Project Manager with experience in the creative services industry to manage B2B marketing initiatives primarily in the medical technology sector, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor project or program schedules, progress, and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget
- Create, maintain, and update project plans
- Maintain and publish a project dashboard/calendars to communicate the status of projects
- Schedule project kick-off meetings/reviews with stakeholders
- Provide functional expertise to assess potential schedule risks and operational impact
- Assist Account Lead with project estimating, in time growing into estimating independently
- Create invoices and submit to clients monthly
- Daily tracking with clients to keep projects moving and on time, connecting with clients and team to balance internal workloads
- Work with clients to obtain assets and other materials needed by the design and copywriting teams; proactively pursue until obtained
- Communicate and drive issue resolutions to closure both with internal and client teams
- Work with internal team and external suppliers to deliver against objectives and meet client expectations
- Be comfortable on video calls, act and look professional
- Openly support Spark’s vision and contribute to the company’s overall success
Requirements:
- Prior experience and a passion for managing B2B marketing materials creation and production (graphics, video, content, trade shows, etc.)
- Have 4+ years Project/Program Management experience, ideally in a medical or hi-tech products' B2B creative agency environment
- Experience managing budgets and creating project estimates
- Comfortable working directly with clients, building strong relationships
- Be a self-starter and independently manage projects and processes
- Be an avid learner of new processes and systems
- See the big picture, yet get granular with the details
- Have impeccable organizational skills
- Be a team-player able to seamlessly partner with designers, copywriters, web developers, and marketing teams
- Have strong change management and scheduling skills, able to juggle conflicting priorities and resolve to meet client(s) demand
- Be proactive and solutions-oriented with a positive attitude toward challenges
- Have an upbeat, can-do attitude even when pressured by time constraints
- Bring an open and curious mindset to everything you do
- Have U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States
- Possess superior project scoping, project timeline development, risk assessment, and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Proficient in Microsoft suite and Teams environment, though internal workflows use Google suite
- Project management tools, like Monday.com, Airtable, etc. as the role requires shifting to what our clients use
- Understanding of proofing tools for the review of digital art files (Ziflow, etc.)
