Customer Service Associate

Taco Bell - Red Wing is one of the largest privately owned Taco Bell franchisees in the United States, committed to a people-first philosophy. The Shift Leader plays a vital role in overseeing restaurant operations, managing team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness
• Lead, motivate, and develop team members to deliver fast, friendly, and efficient service to guests
• Schedule and deploy staff appropriately to meet customer demand and operational needs
• Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and hold team members accountable for meeting standards and expectations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and OSHA requirements
• Maintain the accuracy of the point of sale system, including pricing updates and menu changes
• Handle customer complaints or issues with professionalism and a sincere desire to resolve problems effectively
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training new team members to foster a high-performing team
• Drive financial performance by interpreting P&L statements and making informed operational adjustments
• Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, and employee engagement
• Participate in strategic planning to develop short-term and long-term goals for restaurant success
• Promote a culture of empowerment by providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members

Requirements:

• Candidates should be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Customer-focused mindset
• Physical mobility, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently throughout the shift
• Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a team-oriented attitude
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior experience in a fast-paced restaurant or retail environment
