Field Services Engineer

Strategic Employment Partners (SEP) is a global leader in AI-powered vision inspection systems, seeking Field Service Engineers to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment. The role is ideal for early-career talent, involving hands-on field work and significant travel, primarily in regulated manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and service electromechanical inspection systems on customer production lines, including mounting, wiring, aligning, and calibrating equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electromechanical issues, including mechanical misalignment, electrical faults, sensor/connection problems, and calibration drift
• Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and alignment equipment to identify and resolve failures
• Travel extensively—primarily across the U.S. East Coast with occasional international travel (including Europe)

Requirements:

• 1+ years of electromechanical background (electrical circuits + mechanical systems)
• Familiarity with industrial or automation equipment
• Understanding of diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, test equipment)
• High level of professionalism in customer-facing settings
• Military technical background
