Evidence In Motion (EIM) is searching for a skilled Senior IT Project Manager to oversee enterprise projects from beginning to end. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external partners, managing project plans and resources, and leading various project activities. Ideal candidates will have experience in large-scale system migrations and strong skills in risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, establish milestones, and outline tasks for execution. Manage all phases of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure
- Assemble and manage project teams, including developers, engineers, and analysts. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure successful execution
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditure, and conduct financial forecasting to ensure completion within approved costs
- Identify, assess, and document potential project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Provide regular status updates and reports to management and team members
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Development teams to implement quality assurance processes to verify that all project deliverables meet required specifications and standards
- Creating strategies for implementing changes, including communication and training plans. Engage with stakeholders and team members to ensure needs and concerns are addressed. Identify and address resistance to change through monitoring and support. Tracking progress of change and where adjustments need to be made
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in higher education is required
- At least 5-7 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects
- Extensive experience with technologies commonly used in Higher Education, such as Student Information Systems, Salesforce, and the Canvas LMS
- Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner), or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) are preferred
