JIPA Network serves as a premier platform for fostering dialogue and innovation in healthcare among patients, providers, and payors. The Regional Referral Network Manager for Caribbean Markets is responsible for building and leading a team of local sales contractors to drive patient acquisition and relationship development within the healthcare ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, onboard, and manage a network of local sales contractors in each Caribbean market
- Set clear expectations for daily, weekly, and monthly sales activities (calls, emails, meetings, events, conferences, outreach campaigns)
- Establish and monitor individual and team performance metrics tied to:
- Contacts created
- Active relationships
- Campaign participation
- Qualified leads
- Conversions and patient intakes
- Conduct regular 1:1 check-ins, team huddles, and performance reviews
- Create a culture of ownership, professionalism, and results
- Drive patient leads through strategic relationships with:
- Healthcare providers (clinics, hospitals, physicians)
- Payors and insurers
- Social workers and case managers
- Employers, NGOs, community groups, and other referral sources
- Support contractors in developing long-term, trust-based referral partnerships
- Ensure consistent follow-up, relationship documentation, and opportunity tracking in CRM
- Identify high-value referral channels and replicate best practices across markets
- Own the CRM system as the backbone of sales accountability and visibility
- Ensure:
- Accurate data entry
- Consistent pipeline management
- Proper tagging of referral sources and campaigns
- Build dashboards and reporting to track:
- Activity vs. outcomes
- Lead velocity and conversion rates
- Territory and contractor performance
- Coach contractors on meaningful use of time, prioritization, and pipeline hygiene
- Develop and deliver ongoing training on:
- Sales messaging and value proposition
- Referral conversations and relationship selling
- Objection handling and follow-up discipline
- CRM usage and sales tools
- Provide hands-on support to help contractors:
- Prepare for meetings and conferences
- Improve outreach scripts and follow-ups
- Close referral loops effectively
- Identify skill gaps and proactively address them
- Design and maintain sales rituals that drive consistency and momentum, such as:
- Weekly planning and goal-setting sessions
- Daily or weekly activity check-ins
- Pipeline reviews
- Monthly retrospectives and wins reviews
- Reinforce habits that support:
- Focus
- Accountability
- Continuous improvement
- Ensure rituals are practical, motivating, and culturally appropriate across markets
- Collaborate with marketing to support localized content creation, including:
- Social media posts
- Short videos or testimonials
- Event and conference highlights
- Guide contractors on how to:
- Capture field insights and stories
- Identify content opportunities from real-world interactions
- Align messaging with brand and compliance standards
- Ensure sales and marketing efforts reinforce each other
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in: Sales leadership, business development, or growth roles
- 5+ years of experience in: Managing distributed or contractor-based sales teams
- 5+ years of experience in: Healthcare referral management
- Proven success in relationship-driven or referral-based sales models
- Strong CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar)
- Experience setting and enforcing activity metrics and sales KPIs
- Comfortable operating across multiple countries and cultures
- Excellent coaching, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in healthcare, health services, insurance, or social services
- Familiarity with Caribbean markets or emerging markets
- Experience working with NGOs, hospitals, or public-private stakeholders
- Background in sales operations or performance management
