Sage Care is a fast-growing Series A healthcare technology startup focused on transforming healthcare through innovative solutions. They are seeking a dynamic HR professional to serve as both an HR Business Partner and in-house recruiter, balancing HR operations with recruiting responsibilities to support the company's culture and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Own HR processes across onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and employee records
- Manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HRIS upkeep
- Establish foundational HR policies, handbooks, and frameworks
- Support compensation benchmarking and job leveling
- Oversee performance review cycles and feedback systems
- Partner with leadership to develop people programs (L&D, engagement, recognition)
- Serve as a trusted HR point of contact for employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations
- Help shape company culture, values, and operating norms as we scale
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical, product, and go-to-market roles
- Partner with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and success profiles
- Build scalable sourcing strategies and talent pipelines
- Manage interview processes, assessments, and candidate communication
- Drive a high-touch, inclusive candidate experience
- Improve recruiting operations (ATS configuration, tracking, reporting)
- Develop employer-branding content and outreach campaigns
