To regularly call on established accounts within a specific territory, promoting, selling and working in, all new distribution items available from Georgia Crown.
Must have overall product knowledge, properly inventory and survey the store for sales opportunities, and have a positive and mutual product relationship with the account and buyer.
Must achieve all assigned sales goals, achieve new distribution (30 days),shelf adjacencies, cold box adjacencies, and display goals.
Promote monthly programs and pricing, keep up with market trends and conditions, and be aware of competitive activities.
Must understand Georgia Crown’s policies and procedures, keep accurate account records and route books, keep monthly and daily pre-plans, and understand and work accounts within the applicable delivery schedules.
Must be accurate in taking and placing orders and assist when necessary, in collecting and dealing with special situations.
Must communicate with suppliers in promoting, distributing, and building their brands.
Must be able to understand beer sets and demonstrate the ability to implement.
Must be willing to merchandise accounts(displays and shelves) to improve positions of brands.
Must be on time to all meetings, dressed appropriately and be prepared to participate actively.
Must follow itinerary each day and see all accounts on the itinerary and be prepared at all times with route book, deal sheets, pens, contracts, every day deals and box cutter.
Must have the ability to prioritize and work in a rapidly changing, fast growth environment.
Must be willing to work flexible hours to ensure accounts are serviced properly and in excellent condition.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required, college degree preferred.
6 months previous sales or grocery experience preferred.
Must be sales-oriented, self-motivated, task-driven, adaptable to change, and good negotiator.
Must have good people skills, be willing to take direction and accept constructive criticism.
Must be able to lift 45lbs.
Must have good oral and written communication skills.
Must have working knowledge of basic computer applications (word, outlook, excel...).
Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, mathematical, organizational and time management skills.
Must be licensable under guidelines determined by state alcohol regulations.
Must have flexible working hours and be willing to work overtime/weekends/holidays when needed
Must wear professional attire
Must provide own reliable transportation
Must be able to lift heavy objects repeatedly in an organized manner
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to maintain 100/300/100 insurance limitations.
Must possess valid GA Drivers License
Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:
Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph)
Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years
Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) year
