SolarWinds is a people-first company dedicated to enriching the lives of its employees and customers. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to execute prospecting activities, qualify leads, and communicate the value of SolarWinds products to potential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Execute activities for prospecting, lead generation, and create interest for SolarWinds products to existing customers
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads
- Understand customer requirements and effectively communicate the SolarWinds value proposition
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and e-mail, assist potential customers during the product evaluation process
- Manage, maintain, and communicate accurate customer and pipeline records within SalesForce for handover to Sales Reps
- Submit accurate and timely Pipe create commits on a weekly and monthly basis
- Conduct short first touch 5 minute online product demonstrations to potential customer audiences that are both technical and non-technical
- Work closely with internal sales team based in berlin to ensure smooth handover
- Provide market feedback to include customer priorities and needs
- Engage in 'social selling'. Candidate must be proficient with social media and thrive on creating new, unique content. This includes being comfortable being in front of a camera
Requirements:
- 1-2 Years Lead qualification/ SDR or Sales Experience
- Passion for creating interest in Prospects to learn more about SolarWinds Products
- Enthusiastic and 'self-starter' approach
- Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
- Language preference (specificity is provided depending on the country being supported)
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools, preferably Salesforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Exchange, PowerPoint, Excel, etc)
- Proficiency with social media platforms, especially LinkedIn
