The Service Sales Manager leads the growth and development of Modern Niagara’s service and maintenance business. Operating as a selling leader, this role is responsible for both driving service sales directly and building a scalable service sales function focused on recurring revenue and long-term client partnerships.
Success in this role means expanding lifecycle service offerings, strengthening customer retention, and positioning Modern Niagara as a trusted partner for building performance, reliability, and operational outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the growth of service and maintenance revenue through direct client engagement and opportunity development.
- Identify, pursue, and secure long-term service agreements and strategic maintenance partnerships.
- Develop and execute market strategies to expand recurring revenue across both existing and new clients.
- Position Modern Niagara’s service offerings as lifecycle solutions that enhance building performance, reliability, and operational outcomes.
- Support enterprise client engagement and strategic account development initiatives.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing service sales team aligned with business growth objectives.
- Establish clear sales expectations, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks.
- Coach team members in consultative, value-based, and lifecycle-focused selling approaches.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of service sales personnel.
- Expand service opportunities across the installed base and existing project portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to integrate service with modernization, optimization, controls, and energy solutions.
- Strengthen long-term customer relationships focused on lifecycle partnership models.
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue planning.
- Support the development of scalable service sales processes, tools, and performance metrics.
- Contribute to service strategy, pricing approaches, and contract structures.
- Drive continuous improvement in service sales execution and customer experience.
Must Haves
- Proven success in service, maintenance, or aftermarket sales within building services, construction, facilities management, or technical services environments.
- Demonstrated ability to develop recurring revenue models and secure long-term service agreements.
- Experience leading, mentoring, or developing sales teams.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage clients at both operational and executive levels.
- Solid understanding of building systems, service delivery, and lifecycle asset management.
- Strong business development mindset with the ability to grow and scale service offerings.
Nice to Haves
- Experience developing service programs within mechanical or electrical contracting environments.
- Familiarity with energy services, building optimization, or performance-based service models.
- Experience integrating service offerings with construction or capital project portfolios.
- Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related discipline.
This is a new position. Expected annual compensation: $120,000 – $150,000
