Pipeline Engineer

PrismHR is seeking a detail-oriented Pipeline Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis. The role involves ensuring the regulatory compliance and operational integrity of pipeline assets by reviewing and validating construction documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Meticulously review and analyze a high volume of pipeline construction documents, including as-builts, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Material Test Reports (MTRs), and Purchase Orders (POs)
• Ensure absolute consistency and regulatory compliance across all documentation packages for pipeline segments
• Perform critical Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) validation calculations
• Actively participate in daily morning meetings to collaborate effectively with our India-based engineering team, with flexibility in work hours post-meeting
• Apply knowledge of key industry standards (ASME B31.4, B31.8, API 1104, DOT regulations) to daily tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of pipeline experience
• Bachelor's degree is non-negotiable (field of study is flexible)
• Proficiency in MS Excel (basic functions required; advanced functions a plus)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills (especially in a cross-cultural environment)
• Demonstrate a stable work history
• Must be available for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, under a 1099 contract structure
