Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

Loom Solar Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of manufacturing equipment and plant facilities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of machinery, minimizing downtime, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and improving equipment efficiency across the factory.

The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage maintenance teams while coordinating closely with production and engineering departments to maintain high productivity and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Plant & Machinery Maintenance

• Plan, organize, and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities for all plant machinery and equipment.

• Ensure minimum downtime of machines and uninterrupted production operations.

• Diagnose equipment faults and coordinate timely repair and replacement of parts.

• Maintain machinery performance through regular inspection, servicing, and calibration .

Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for production equipment and utilities.

• Monitor machine performance and identify potential failures using predictive maintenance practices.

• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and equipment history.

Team Management

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team including technicians and engineers .

• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.

• Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance staff.

Utilities & Infrastructure Maintenance

• Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems, compressors, HVAC systems, and other utilities .

• Monitor factory infrastructure and ensure maintenance of plant facilities and equipment safety systems .

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve machine efficiency, reliability, and productivity .

• Implement cost-effective solutions to reduce breakdowns and maintenance costs.

• Work closely with production and quality teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and company policies .

• Maintain proper documentation related to maintenance activities and safety inspections.

• Support audits related to equipment safety and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery maintenance and troubleshooting .

• Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance planning .

• Good understanding of electrical, mechanical, and automation systems .

• Strong leadership and team management skills .

• Ability to analyze technical problems and implement effective solutions.

• Good documentation, planning, and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of industrial safety practices and compliance standards .

Qualifications

• B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 6–10 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment.

• Experience in managing maintenance teams and factory equipment operations will be preferred.
