Adjunct Faculty – IT / Cybersecurity
Role Objective
Support learners in a blended learning environment by delivering industry-relevant IT and cybersecurity training, mentoring, and assessment to achieve strong skills outcomes.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver flipped classroom sessions and hands-on labs

Mentor learners and guide them through real-world cybersecurity use cases

Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback

Adapt delivery based on learners’ technical levels
Technical Coverage
-
Network & system security, IAM, threat and vulnerability management
-
SOC operations, incident response, GRC fundamentals
-
Networking (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs), Windows & Linux
-
Cloud security fundamentals (AWS / Azure / GCP)
-
Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, OWASP Top 10

Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

3+ years of hands-on experience in IT / Cybersecurity

Prior experience as a trainer, facilitator, coach, or adjunct faculty preferred

Strong communication skills and learner-centric mindset
Certifications (At least one required)

CompTIA Security+, CySA+
-
CEH
-
GIAC (GSEC, GCIH)
-
CISSP (or Associate)
