A2O Healthcare Management Service is a leader in healthcare services and technology, seeking a Vice President of Sales & Business Development to drive new business growth in Risk Adjustment and Revenue Cycle Management services. The role involves leading strategic sales efforts, acquiring new clients, and closing multimillion-dollar enterprise deals while enhancing client outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own the sales strategy and pipeline for Risk Adjustment and RCM services
- Identify and win new payer and provider clients across Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and Commercial markets
- Consistently achieve or exceed annual revenue targets
- Lead complex $5M–$20M+ enterprise sales cycles
- Build trusted relationships with C-suite executives (CIO, CFO, COO, Chief Medical Officer, VP Revenue Cycle)
- Position solution-driven offerings that improve reimbursement, compliance, and operational performance
- Grow existing client relationships through cross-selling analytics, AI, digital transformation, and outsourcing solutions
- Partner with delivery and solution teams to design tailored transformation programs
- Develop go-to-market strategies for Risk Adjustment, Coding, Quality, and RCM services
- Identify emerging opportunities in value-based care, payer-provider convergence, and healthcare digital transformation
Requirements:
- 15+ years of healthcare enterprise sales experience
- Proven success selling Risk Adjustment, RCM, BPO, or healthcare technology solutions
- Track record closing multimillion-dollar deals with major health plans and providers
- Strong relationships across payer organizations, health systems, and managed care leaders
- Deep understanding of: Risk Adjustment (HCC Coding, RAF Optimization), Medicare Advantage & Medicaid programs, Revenue Cycle Management (End-to-End), Claims & Payment Integrity, Healthcare analytics, AI, and automation
- Hunter mindset with strong new logo acquisition success
- Experience selling AI, analytics, digital engineering, or CX solutions in healthcare
- Ability to lead complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles
- Strong executive presence and negotiation skills
