The Honey Pot Company is dedicated to providing natural feminine care products and promoting health and wellness. The Manager, Business Analytics is responsible for transforming commercial data into standardized dashboards and reporting tools to enable informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Own internal data platforms utilized by Sales and the Honey Pot organization
- Ensure high data integrity and resolve data issues
- Consolidate data from external & internal systems into centralized reporting structures
- Map and harmonize disparate data sets (customer, product, etc)
- Establish and maintain standardized data reporting frameworks
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards (Power BI) for Sales and Leadership
- Develop visualizations and performance scorecards for key retail accounts
- Improve reporting efficiency through automation and process optimization
- Serve as the primary analytics partner to the Honey Pot sales team to support and execute against company growth levers
- Analyze customer and channel performance to identify growth opportunities by SKU, risks or white space
- Deliver actionable insights on distribution, velocities, assortment, pricing, and promotion effectiveness
- Support customer planning, joint business plans (JBPs), and customer line reviews as needed
- Support Revenue Growth Management (RGM) initiatives including pricing architecture and mix optimization
- Evaluate promotions & discounts to improve ROI and profitability to guide internal strategy guidance
- Develop reporting to monitor category and competitive performance to guide the organizations towards recommendations and actions
- Conduct scenario modeling to assess impact of innovation, pricing, promotions, new items and distribution changes
- Compile data and insights into visual stories with clear recommendations which move the business forward
- Support learning and development of data, insights and tools within the Sales organization
- Improve usability of analytics tools for Sales teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- 5+ years of CPG sales experience, preferably with Target
- Experience or working knowledge of Target systems, analytics and scorecards
- Strong relationship-building skills with retail partners
- Experience managing +$15M in annual sales
- Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Nielsen, Circana/IRI, and retailer POS systems
- Excels at synthesizing data and giving actionable insights
- Experience developing impactful persuasive slides which influence decisions
- Exposure to business planning and execution of annual agreements including negotiations
- Financial acumen and ability to understand impacts to trade and account profitability
- Expertise in demand forecasting and knowledge of supply chain operations
- Strong understanding of retail landscape, including buyer dynamics, merchandising promo expectations
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel within market as required, including tradeshows, events and company meetings
