Emerald is a company that specializes in creating connections and driving commerce through various platforms. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Acquisition Integration to lead integration projects following mergers and acquisitions, ensuring alignment of systems and processes across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage detailed project plans for acquisition integration, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate with Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure smooth integration of acquired entities
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruption during integration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for integration updates, providing clear and timely communication to executives and stakeholders
- Recommend and implement best practices for integration processes to improve efficiency and reduce complexity. Develop and refine playbook for future acquisitions
- Monitor progress against KPIs and report on integration success metrics to leadership
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in M&A or acquisition integration projects
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-functional projects in a remote environment
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira)
- PMP certification
