Westlake Pipe & Fittings, a division of Westlake Corporation, is a leading manufacturer of PVC pipe and fittings in North America. The Regional Sales Manager – Irrigation / Pool & Spa will drive regional strategy and growth for key accounts across the Western US, focusing on increasing market share and strengthening distributor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a regional business plan for strategic irrigation and pool/spa accounts
- Grow market share and reclaim lost business through focused account strategies
- Identify new growth opportunities within existing and emerging channels
- Partner with regional leadership of National Irrigation & Pool/Spa Accounts
- Engage regional irrigation and pool/spa distributors such as
- Collaborate with National Buying Groups including
- Evaluate account relevance, positioning, and go-forward strategies to strengthen partnerships
- Evaluate and optimize the rep agency network to improve performance and coverage
- Conduct product training, presentations, and joint sales calls
- Provide weekly market activity reports and monthly territory performance analyses
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions
- Manage the Travel & Entertainment budget to maximize ROI
- Maintain strong product and technical knowledge through ongoing education and industry engagement
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience
- Strong background in irrigation markets (distribution, buying groups, or manufacturers)
- Proven ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies
- Experience working with large distributors
- Experience working with buying groups
- Experience working with rep agency models
- Willingness and ability to travel 60–70% within the region
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Background in pipe, fittings, or building products
- Demonstrated success regaining lost market share
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to present complex products and conduct hands-on demonstrations
- Bachelor's degree preferred (business or related field)
