About this role
Cadence is a technology company that hires and develops leaders and innovators. They are seeking an RF Principal Application Engineer who will support key RF customers with system analysis tools and new business activities, while also providing customer support and training to ensure success.
Responsibilities:
- Support key RF customers with system analysis tools as well as new business activities in the Central and Midwest US regions
- Work with sales to understand customer challenges
- Perform product demonstrations
- Develop solutions
- Provide key customer support and training to ensure success
Requirements:
- US Citizenship is required for this role
- Ability to anticipate technical challenges and develop creative solutions
- Ability to technically lead on a wide range of customer engagements
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- 5+ years experience in RF communication system design
- Experience with link budget, interference, and signal analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Growth mindset, open to continuous learning and development
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE)
- Experience with Cadence AWR Visual System Simulator
- Experience with Virtuoso and Cadence EM and electrical solvers
- Comfortable working in Linux environment
- Project and/or team leadership experience
