Primary Function of Position
We are seeking a strategic and technically strong leader to drive Product Development & Integration within our Business Intelligence and Enablement team in Professional Education and Program Services (PEPS). This role is responsible for leading the development of scalable web and mobile applications while ensuring secure, high-performing, and maintainable solutions that align with business and customer needs. The ideal candidate brings a balance of engineering leadership, product alignment, and cross-functional collaboration, partnering closely with IT, Product Management, Digital, and operational stakeholders. This position will oversee integration initiatives, standardize product delivery processes, incorporate field feedback into roadmap planning, and help shape future product placement and growth strategies.
Essential Job Duties
Lead technical teams in the development of web and mobile based applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with IT and other teams to strengthen network security and application infrastructure, proactively addressing roadblocks and technical constraints.
Define and execute technical roadmaps in close collaboration with BIE Product Managers, guaranteeing alignment between business objectives, customer needs, and engineering execution.
Oversee technology integration program managers during new product pilots, while aiding in the definition and strategy of future product positioning and growth opportunities.
Develop a standard product delivery lifecycle between PEPS and forward-looking engineering teams, including Digital, Future Forward, and other related functions.
Establish structured feedback loops to capture insights from the field, incorporating customer and sales feedback into product enhancements and long-term roadmap planning.
Develop strategies for future product placement, ecosystem integration, and scalable growth pathways, identifying opportunities for expansion and innovation within operations of Hospitals.
Required Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience in software development, product engineering, or technical program leadership, with at least 4 years in a people management or team lead capacity.
Proven experience leading web and mobile application development teams, delivering scalable, reliable, and high-performing solutions.
Strong understanding of application architecture, system integrations, APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure environments.
Experience collaborating cross-functionally with IT, Security, and Digital teams to align technical execution with business objectives.
Demonstrated ability to define and execute technical roadmaps in partnership with product stakeholders.
Working knowledge of network security, application security best practices, and enterprise infrastructure considerations.
Experience establishing or improving product delivery lifecycles, including Agile or hybrid methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively remove roadblocks and manage technical risk.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functional boundaries.
Required Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field required.
Leadership or management training, or demonstrated experience leading technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.
Training or practical experience in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and modern application architecture principles.

Preferred Skills and Experience
Has worked closely with existing Intuitive IT, Network Security, and Infrastructure teams to navigate web and mobile app development, internally and/or externally.
Experience supporting digital solutions within hospital or healthcare operational environments.
Experience working within regulated environments with compliance considerations (e.g., HIPAA or similar frameworks).
Proven ability to influence product positioning and contribute to long-term growth and ecosystem integration strategies.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
