Mobility Assistance Vehicle Operator - 12pm-8pm - Monday to Friday - Livingston Mobile Health

Responsible for assisting the community by providing non-emergency transportation for wheelchair-based patients. 


Principal Accountabilities: 


1. Transports patients in wheelchairs between medical facilities and/or to/from their respective residence in a professional and caring manner. 
2. Proficiency in driving Mobility Assistance Vehicle - operates vehicle safely and professionally, in compliance with all applicable laws and rules governing same. 
3. Responsible for safely securing patient in transport vehicle using harness straps in compliance with all standards. 
4. Able to negotiate 1-2 steps/curbs while transporting patient without assistance. Occasionally performs a patient stand pivot transfer from bed/chair to wheelchair. 
5. Ensures all appropriate patient medical records accompany transports. 
6. Decontaminates vehicle interior following transport to ensure infection prevention. 
7. Other relevant duties as assigned

Required: 
1. Must be willing to obtain MAV, CPR and first aid classes upon hire. 
2. High School Diploma or GED required. 
3. Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
