THE POSITION
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of IT infrastructure and network operations programs supporting federal government customers with the DOJ/DHS. This role provides strategic leadership, program governance, and operational oversight across multiple projects and technical teams. The Portfolio Manager will ensure successful delivery of services across the portfolio by managing program performance, financial oversight, staffing strategy, and customer engagement. The position works closely with technical leadership, program managers, and government stakeholders to align delivery with mission objectives, service level agreements, and contract requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a senior point of contact for government stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead program reviews, executive briefings, and performance updates.
- Coordinate technical teams supporting network, cybersecurity, and application services.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and federal standards.
- Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and support continuous improvement.
