The Operational Inspections & Technical Services team plays a critical role in safeguarding Sydney Water’s assets across our drinking water, recycled water, stormwater, and wastewater networks. Our work helps protect waterways, reduce environmental risks, and ensure essential services continue safely and efficiently.
About the role
We’re looking for a skilled and safety‑focused Operations Technician to join our Operational Inspections & Technical Services team. If you’re passionate about protecting essential water assets, enjoy technical field work, and want to play a key role in safeguarding our environment, this is the job for you.
In this field‑based role, you will work across a wide range of environments and conditions—including uneven terrain, open trenches, confined spaces, live wastewater systems, adverse weather, and long‑distance driving—while ensuring safe, high‑quality, and compliant operational outcomes.
