SoTalent is seeking an experienced analytics professional to play a pivotal role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence high-impact business decisions. The Senior Business Analyst will evaluate pricing performance, develop analytical frameworks, and build advanced models to enhance understanding of donor behavior and operational dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Apply strong quantitative and analytical abilities to integrate data from multiple systems, identify trends, and provide insights that guide strategic decision-making
- Analyze pricing outcomes to highlight performance drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities across various donor categories, locations, and fee structures
- Support pricing and forecasting initiatives using statistical techniques, automation, structured experiments, and compelling data visualizations
- Build and refine models—such as supervised and unsupervised learning solutions, segmentation, retention predictions, and elasticity analyses—to enhance business forecasting and donor engagement strategies
- Manage the full lifecycle of testing initiatives, from design to interpretation, helping scale effective strategies and standardizing best practices in analytics, coding, and data storytelling
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, pricing, strategy, forecasting, or related areas, with a track record of delivering business outcomes
- Strong grounding in statistical theory and experimental methods, including regression techniques, causal inference, hypothesis testing, and experiment design
- Strong experience working with PySpark, Python, SQL, and BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
- Highly proficient in Excel for rapid data exploration and scenario analysis
- Demonstrated ability to identify analytical opportunities, design models or experiments, and deliver insights with measurable impact
- Comfortable working in environments where priorities shift quickly and analytical clarity is essential
- Skilled in presenting complex technical findings in a clear, business-oriented manner
- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
