About this role
Element Technologies is seeking a Project Manager with expertise in the utility or telecommunication industry. The role involves managing complex enterprise software implementation projects, focusing on Mobile Work Management and Geospatial applications, while ensuring effective communication and accountability among team members and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Need to have Recent Utility OR Telecommunication Industry of 5 years experience
- Must have experience managing complex enterprise software implementation projects, preferably in the Mobile Work Management and Geospatial space (i.e Esri or GE Smallworld)
- Upto 15-20% travel involved
- Fullcycle software project Implementation experience
- Software implementation experience
- Budget Management experience
- Supported external customers, client facing vendor side
- Personality – Leadership qualities, should be able to ask all the hard questions, open to dealing with any conflicts
- Prefer Geospatial background, software apps for telecoms or utilities, understanding what it takes to deploy software into these ecosystems
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication with team members, Customer and IQGeo Management Team
- Must have excellent risk management and conflict resolution skills
- Track record of demonstrating leadership and managing high performing teams
- Must have experience managing project budgets of 1million plus, including resource planning and revenue forecasting
- Must be able to oversee and take accountability for the planning and implementation of an entire project, including collaboration with the Customer on integrated delivery plans
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to hold team members and customers accountable for agreed deliverables and timelines (diplomatically)
