Enersponse is a company focused on energy conservation programs that deliver savings for clients in the commercial and industrial sectors. The Business Development Representative will assist in growing the business by engaging in prospecting activities, managing leads, and collaborating with the marketing department to identify new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and complete weekly prospecting activities to include cold calling and tele-prospecting, emailing, LinkedIn and Social media connections with key decision makers
- Create, manage, and exceed personal sales goals regularly by participating in team role playing and skill development sessions
- Educate customers on how our programs can benefit them financially and assist with grid stability
- Achieve annual sales targets and average weekly meeting quotas on a consistent basis
- Collaborate with marketing department to identify new business opportunities through research and networking
- Developing and qualifying leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns
- Maintain and update reports of sales activities, calls, meetings, contracts, sales, lost business in company CRM
- Leverage world class tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and more to generate in-bound leads
Requirements:
- Cold calling: 1-2 years
- Outbound prospecting experience
- Positive attitude with a passion for a career in sales
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Maintains focus on daily objectives and effectively set priorities
- Achievement-oriented and passionate about their work
- BA, BS or some college level coursework preferred
- 3-5 years of sales/business development
- Experience in energy sales or business development
