Staff Full Stack developer

Aerialytic is the operating system for decentralized energy. They are seeking a Staff Full Stack Developer to lead engineering efforts in building scalable systems that transform satellite data into financial certainty while collaborating closely with various teams and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Design and evolve a scalable, event-driven platform using Python, TypeScript, and modern frameworks
• Lead architectural decisions across microservices, data pipelines, and compute-heavy workflows
• Build systems that prioritize correctness, resilience, and cost-efficient scale because banks don’t finance “close enough”
• Build APIs and services that power instant solar designs, proposals, and financing workflows
• Translate complex physical and financial constraints into elegant, reliable software abstractions
• Collaborate closely with Product to ship features that materially move revenue and adoption
• Lead by example through clean code, thoughtful reviews, and pragmatic engineering decisions
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar without ego or heroics
• Shape engineering practices that balance speed with long-term maintainability
• Partner with ML and Computer Vision teams to productionize models for shading analysis, 3D reconstruction, and layout optimization
• Optimize performance-critical paths, including geometry processing and GPU-accelerated workloads
• Act as a senior technical partner to Enterprise customers, helping shape how Aerialytic integrates into complex production environments
• Build trust with client engineering teams by guiding integrations, resolving architectural questions, and ensuring platform reliability at scale
• Represent engineering in high-stakes conversations where correctness, durability, and long-term alignment matter
