Transcarent is a company focused on improving health and care through innovative solutions. They are seeking a Product Management Intern to work on impactful projects, conduct user and market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process.
Responsibilities:
- Shape the future of health and care - Work on projects that directly impact the business and contribute to Transcarent’s mission of better health and care
- Own a project from start to finish - Scope, define, and drive a product initiative through discovery, development, and launch during your internship
- Conduct user and market research - Interview customers, analyze usage data, and assess the competitive landscape to surface insights that inform product decisions
- Write product requirements - Translate research findings into clear user stories, specs, or PRDs that engineering teams can build against
- Collaborate cross-functionally - Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and marketing teams to align on priorities and deliver outcomes
- Analyze product metrics - Dig into quantitative data to evaluate feature performance, identify opportunities, and make recommendations backed by evidence
- Present to leadership - Communicate your findings, progress, and recommendations to senior stakeholders through written and verbal presentations
- Contribute to roadmap planning - Participate in prioritization discussions and help evaluate tradeoffs across impact, effort, and strategic alignment
- Learn directly from the experts - You'll have a formal mentor on your team guiding you throughout your internship period
Requirements:
- Is a rising junior or senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, or other technical field
- Is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative to identify problems worth solving, and drives toward solutions without waiting to be told what to do
- Has a passion for healthcare and is genuinely curious about how we can improve the delivery of health and care
- Communicates clearly and can distill complex ideas into crisp narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Is comfortable working with data to frame problems, validate assumptions, and measure outcomes
- Collaborates effectively across functions and knows how to influence without authority
- Brings intellectual curiosity and humility by asking great questions and treats every interaction as a chance to learn
- Wants to learn more about the product management discipline and can dedicate 40 hours a week for a duration of 12 weeks
