They are seeking a Sales Engineer who will support the adoption of their partner company’s platform, working at the intersection of sales, engineering, and customer implementation to ensure successful technical integration and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team during technical discussions with prospective customers by explaining platform capabilities, architecture, and integration possibilities
- Conduct technical product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and solution walkthroughs tailored to customer requirements
- Work closely with customers to understand their technical environment, infrastructure, and operational needs during the pre-sales and onboarding stages
- Assist in deploying and configuring the platform within customer environments to ensure successful implementation
- Integrate platform components with IoT devices, sensors, APIs, and customer infrastructure systems
- Provide technical guidance to customers during onboarding, deployment, and early adoption stages
- Troubleshoot technical issues encountered during implementation or proof-of-concept deployments
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay customer feedback, technical requirements, and integration challenges
- Support cloud infrastructure setup and configuration for customer deployments where required
- Assist customers with system integrations, connectivity, and data flow between the platform and their existing systems
- Document deployment processes, technical configurations, and best practices for customer implementations
- Identify opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, integration processes, and customer onboarding experience
- Provide technical support for product updates, early-stage rollouts, and pilot implementations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Deployment Engineering, or Technical Implementation roles
- Experience supporting pre-sales technical discussions, product demonstrations, or solution architecture for enterprise or SaaS platforms
- Strong understanding of: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Linux system administration, Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls), API integrations and system connectivity, Docker or containerized environments, Monitoring and logging tools, Data pipelines and system integrations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for customers and stakeholders
- Experience working in startup or fast-paced environments is a strong advantage
- Experience working with IoT deployments, edge devices, or sensor integrations is a strong advantage
