The Technical Sales Engineer, Channel role focuses on equipping channel partners and Account Managers with the necessary product expertise to effectively sell Bluebeam solutions, while also coaching and training partners to drive scalable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver scalable partner enablement programs that build demo capability and deepen product expertise, including reusable training content and demo assets
- Facilitate engaging live and virtual enablement sessions for partners and Channel Account Managers
- Partner with Channel Account Managers and key partners to support discovery for complex or strategic opportunities, translating workflows and requirements into tailored solution recommendations and demos
- Deliver pre-sales demonstrations to upskill partner teams and participate in select end-customer calls for high-value or complex deals
- Strengthen partner technical self-sufficiency by coaching BCIs, BCSRs, and distributor technical teams, including reviewing partner-led demos and providing targeted feedback
- Serve as a technical resource for Channel Account Managers and partners, collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services when needed
- Enable internal sales teams through demo readiness training and product knowledge development
- Maintain deep expertise in Bluebeam products, competitive solutions, and AECO industry trends
Requirements:
- Quickly learn and master Bluebeam products and AECO workflows
- Exceptional technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident presenter in both in-person and virtual settings, including large audiences
- Skilled in delivering clear, compelling software demonstrations aligned to real-world workflows
- Highly organized with strong calendar management and cross-time-zone coordination skills
- Active listener with a coachable, collaborative mindset
- Effective relationship builder who partners well with Channel Account Managers and external partners
- Consultative approach, using discovery to guide focused and relevant feature showcases
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales or pre-sales role, ideally within design and construction technology
- BA/BS preferred or equivalent industry certification and experience
- Bluebeam product experience (as a user or seller) preferred
